HollyShorts founders announce the launch of the inaugural HollyShorts Dubai Festival, coming December 2025

HollyShorts Dubai marks the festival’s Middle East debut, bringing the Oscar-qualifying short film showcase to the region. Set for Dubai on December 12–14, giving regional filmmakers direct Oscar-qualifying access across four categories. Co-founder Theo Dumont has tapped MGM veteran Jeff Pryor as strategic advisor to steer the launch, leveraging his global event and PR experience. The move follows a successful London debut and comes as the flagship Hollywood event celebrates its 21st year with a star-studded lineup, cementing HollyShorts’ role as a premier platform for emerging talent in the booming short-form space.
