The Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, which has been going strong for years, with eight editions already in the books, is getting an official rebrand! The festival, which will be from May 2-4, will now hold is ninth installment under its new name: HollyShorts Comedy! The festival is owned and operated by the founders and directors of the Oscar and Bafta-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival, allowing for filmmakers to have another avenue to get their films seen.

HOLLYWOOD COMEDY SHORTS FILM FESTIVAL REBRANDS – HOLLYSHORTS COMEDY
Hollywood, CA February 7, 2025—The annual Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, which will have its 9th edition May 2-4 in Los Angeles, is getting an official rebrand. The festival, which is owned and operated by the founders and directors of the Oscar and Bafta-qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival as of today will now be known as HOLLYSHORTS COMEDY.
HollyShorts Comedy was originally born as a gateway for comedy filmmakers, next generation storytellers, and lovers of funny short films to have their work showcased while mingling with industry professionals and the rebranding of the festival further aligns this path.
The rebranding of the festival comes in time of its February 9th late submission deadline. Filmmakers can submit their comedy shorts today at Film Freeway.
HOLLYSHORTS COMEDY will take place at the LOOK Dine-In Cinemas in Glendale.

Dark Comedy, Spoof, Romantic Comedy, Horror Comedy, Alternative Comedy, Web Series, Cringe, Student, Midnight, TV Comedy Episodic, Comedy Shorts Screenplays, TV Comedy Screenplays, and Comedy Feature Length Screenplays.
